I grew up near
Pittsburgh.
Computers, games,
and independent projects became an early path to exploration and
independence. Twin younger brothers. A family that fixes things
instead of throwing them out. At home I became the person who
fixed networks, set up devices, and kept family systems running.
I am a student member of the
Multimedia & Classroom Technology Working Group
on the Academic Technology Governance Committee, Fall 2026 to present.
I help set priorities and review standards for campus multimedia and
classroom tech.
I am involved with
LEVEL.
I help when peers have practical campus questions.
ACS here is Villanova's
Augustine and Culture Seminar,
also called Ancients. Not the American Chemical Society. I am ACS
Student Ambassador and sit on the ACS Student Advisory Council.
I stay in
IEEE
and
Delta Alpha Pi.
I keep graduate lecture capture running as an eLearning student operator.

Systems That Have to Keep Running
At my grandmother's family business,
Barno Electronics,
I handled warehouse work, web and eBay operations, cameras, printers, and
Wi-Fi. That was not a design-engineer title. At home, the same kind of
work is UniFi switching, wireless, cameras, and storage.
In summer 2026 I joined
Intervala
as a test engineering intern. I worked flying-probe, ICT, and
customer fixtures on PCBAs for military, medical, and data-center
work. A customer provided a custom computer and test fixture and
demoed the function in detail. I wrote and document-controlled the
test procedure, trained technicians, and then worked with the
customer, other test engineers, and technicians to refine the
process and repair worn and faulty fixture parts from repeated use.

Choir from 2015 through graduation, including Sewickley Academy's
winter 2022 chorus concert.
Halo is the series I keep coming back to. Finish the fight is still
the line that fits. Games were how I learned systems before labs.
Rock first: AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Journey, Huey Lewis, Boston. Sinatra,
ABBA, the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and Elton when the room calls for it.
Italian records in the mix. Halo and film scores on long work nights.

05 · How I Build
Bench Work, Edge AI, Finished Artifacts
My project trail runs from an AutoCAD bottle-cleaning station and
analog bench work to a VHDL traffic-light controller, a Jetson
assistive vest, and OsteoVigil's CT-to-FEA research pipeline.
Public browser projects sit beside that hardware work. I learn by
carrying a clear slice of a project through to something usable.
PCBA test from Intervala. Test procedures, custom fixtures,
cable test, board-level debug, and soldering.
Embedded / edge
Jetson OrinJetPack 6.2CameraCUDA platforms
Hardware lead on the assistive navigation vest. Jetson Orin Nano
Super, JetPack 6.2, battery, camera, microphone, and speaker.
Hardware is complete. Vest integration is still in progress.
Research prototype.
Simulation and layout from Villanova labs. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and
Git. C and Java in coursework. JavaScript and TypeScript on public
browser projects. Windows, macOS, Linux, UniFi.

07 · How I Work
Build the Solution So It Holds Up
I took the
CliftonStrengths
assessment freshman year at
Villanova.
It names talent themes for how you naturally work. Mine are
Deliberative, Individualization, Analytical, Harmony, and Relator.
They match how I work. I prefer a solid result over credit.
Deliberative. I think before I commit. I check
risk, edge cases, and whether a path will hold under load before
I lock it in.
Individualization. I notice what each teammate
actually brings and assign work to fit, not a one-size-fits-all
split.
Analytical. I want evidence. Measurements, logs,
failing cases, and datasheets. I prefer a clear why over vibes.
Harmony. I cut unnecessary conflict. I look for
the shared workable path so the team can ship.
Relator. I build a few deep working
relationships. Trust and follow-through beat networking theater.
I graduate in May 2027 and am looking for full-time roles in test
engineering, embedded systems, hardware-software integration, or
applied AI on real devices. Pittsburgh-area and remote-friendly
teams come first.
