Skills
The toolkit behind my coursework, internships, and side projects. Hardware test work at Intervala, edge AI on Jetson, and the CAD and simulation tools from Villanova labs. I keep local AI tooling on my own machines when it helps me ship faster.
Test / Hardware
Hands-on PCB test and debug from my Intervala internship and years of fixing things at home. Flying-probe and in-circuit test on SPEA equipment, bed-of-nails fixtures, and production test procedures for defense and medical PCBAs.
Board-level debug with oscilloscopes, solder rework, and custom test cables. Developed programs for a multi-type cable test fixture used to verify a range of cable assemblies. Comfortable configuring rack-mounted gear and Windows test stations from legacy through current OS builds. ITAR/EAR awareness from a controlled manufacturing floor.
Embedded / Edge
Senior design and personal projects push models onto real hardware. Jetson Orin Nano Super with JetPack 6.2.1, TensorRT inference, YOLO-World open-vocabulary detection, and CUDA edge deployment for on-device perception at about 13 FPS at 720p.
Built a live assistive navigation stack with an IMX219 CSI camera, metric depth HUD, spoken TTS cues, INA219 power telemetry, and boot autostart for a battery-powered wearable vest. Comfortable with camera bring-up, cue policy tuning, and keeping inference stable on limited power.
CAD / EDA
Simulation and layout from Villanova coursework and team projects. LTspice for analog and power circuits. MATLAB for analysis, coursework, and signal processing labs. Intel Quartus Prime and VHDL for digital systems design.
AutoCAD for mechanical layouts, including a compact dorm bottle-cleaning station my freshman team drafted for an interdisciplinary design project. Comfortable moving between schematic capture, simulation, and a physical layout that has to fit a real enclosure.
Languages / OS
C and Java from engineering coursework and lab work. Daily driver across Windows, macOS, and Linux for test stations, eLearning AV setups, home networks, and development machines.
ITAR/EAR export control awareness from manufacturing work. Browser projects on GitHub Pages add practical JavaScript and TypeScript alongside the core EE stack.
Local AI
I run models locally with LM Studio to compare quantizations, test latency, and keep sensitive work off cloud APIs when that matters. Useful for prototyping inference pipelines before they land on Jetson or in a browser demo.
Actively testing Hermes Agent and OpenClaw for agentic workflows on my own hardware. I reach for modern AI-assisted tooling when it speeds up implementation without hiding the hardware underneath. The goal is always a finished artifact, not a chat transcript.
Autonomous driving
I have been testing Tesla FSD Beta since October 2021 as a personal beta tester, not as an employee. I follow how perception, planning, and in-car UI feedback evolve release to release on real roads in the Pittsburgh area.
That long-running seat in the program keeps my interest in applied autonomy grounded in what actually ships to drivers, not just what looks good in a demo video.
